Questa parola definisce un evento speciale per i paesi di montagna , con una tradizionale sfilata dei capi di bestiame, di ritorno dalle malghe e dai pascoli estivi in alta quota, si saluta la fine dell’estate. Abbiamo partecipato alla quarta edizione della desmalgada a Boniprati collocato tra il fondovalle della Valle del Chiese e le propaggini dell’Adamello trentino, a 1150 metri di quota.

I proprietari del bestiame, bovini, ovini ed quini, scendono in paese con i vestiti tipici, gli animali sono tutti addobbati a festa con fiori, ornamenti, nastrini colorati.

La banda apre la sfilata, seguono dei carri con cavalli, donne, uomini e bambini in costume tradizionale, salutati con gioia dalle persone accanto alla strada.

La mandria delle mucche, le protagoniste di questo giorno di festa sono le ultime a scendere, si fanno attendere come i veri VIP, e durante la discesa tentano anche di prendere una scorciatoia ( forse erano troppo emozionate!)

In paese c’è una grande festa tutto il giorno con possibilità di comprare il formaggio della malga, salami nostrani, grappe, cappelli tradizionali, campanacci e quant’altro ; nell’area ci sono vari recinti con gli animali, caprette, galline, mucche, coniglietti, cavalli … Alex è contentissimo di poterli accarezzare ed offrirgli della paglia. 

Complice un sole meraviglioso, l’aria frizzante ed il panorama che offre questo paese,,  passiamo una giornata veramente meravigliosa;  nella natura, circondati dagli animali e dalla simpatia e disponibilità delle persone del posto. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente anche l’anno prossimo!

This word defines a special event for mountain villages, with a traditional parade of cattle, returning from the huts and summer pastures at high altitude, greets the end of summer.

We participated in the fourth edition of the desmalgada in Boniprati located between the valley bottom of the Valle del Chiese and the foothills of the Adamello trentino, at 1150 meters of altitude.

The owners of the cattle, cattle, sheep and quini, come down in the village with the typical clothes, the animals are all festively decorated with flowers, ornaments, colored ribbons.

The band of the village opens the parade, followed by carts with horses, women, men and children in traditional costume, greeted with joy by the people next to the road.

The herd of cows, the protagonists of this day of celebration are the last to go down, they wait like the real VIPs, and during the descent they also try to take a short cut (maybe they were too excited!)

In the village there is a big party all day with the possibility to buy cheese from the malga, local salami, there are various enclosures with animals, goats, chickens, cows, rabbits, horses … Alex is delighted to be able to caress and offer him some straw.

Accomplice a wonderful sun, the crisp air and the landscape that this country offers, we spend a truly wonderful day; in nature, surrounded by animals and the sympathy and availability of the locals. We will definitely be back again next year
